Do you need breadcrumbs on a site with only two levels?

Greetings.
I wondered if they were needed? The site has only two levels, there is no branched structure. What do you think?

The answer depends on:
  • topics
  • audience
  • etc.

For example, depending on the above factors, you may only need mobile traffic for usability.
Here is an example of a project with the same nesting as yours.
I expected the crumbs to be useful on mobile, but it turned out that they are clicked on only from the PC. While we may think it's more obvious to click on the logo, BUT don't click - use Breadcrumbs.

Therefore, I recommend that you still set up breadcrumbs and, 2-3 months after the final completion of the site, check the Click Map to make sure they are needed / unnecessary.
In this case, you will be 100% sure that you have not worsened the usability of the site. In general, the principle of "better safe than sorry" in action! :))
