Do you need a soldering hood?
I watched alexgyver's youtube video where he made a soldering hood so as not to inhale flux vapors. But somehow the authors of the video tutorials on soldering do not mention this. So is it necessary or not? How much am I harming my body by inhaling rosin vapors?

Need. Look at the photos from the radio installation conveyors - an exhaust box hangs above each workplace. But the reason is not in the flux, but in the vapors of a heavy metal - lead, which is not excreted from the body. However, I can admit the existence of a rather poisonous flux, which also requires an extract. Rosin and fluxes based on it do not apply to those.
In a home soldering environment, the exhaust hood requirement is usually ignored by most solderers.
