Do we have any materials for the development, perhaps, of mathematical calculations in problems for programmers, or simply for the development of algorithms?
Hello. I have been studying programming for 3 years now. but I study everything, but I never learned to program. I quit at the most interesting moment, if it has not been possible to solve the problem for quite a long time, I quit and change the new material. Now the last time I took courses on the stepik https://stepik.org/lesson/64123/step/8?discussion=... and got stuck for a week in cycles, there are no answers anywhere, so I quit this business today... for example, yesterday I sent a question here about problems, and I could not solve this simple problem, not because I don’t know the basics of the language, but simply I don’t have any ideas and how to solve this problem. For example, here: Given a
number N, determine whether it is a power of a number 2.
Input: One non-negative integer N. Sample Input: 128
Output: YES -- if N is a power of two, NO otherwise. Sample Output: YES
I have no idea how to solve this problem here. Here's what I thought about what I'm doing wrong. and I realized that I have no knowledge of mathematics, somehow I need to develop this logic, what, how to solve such problems. and in this connection I have a question. Is there any good, really good material / literature / courses where they teach specifically how to solve problems specifically for programmers. and that there must be decisions with a detailed description, in Russian. otherwise I’m going through the last courses on the steppe, I solved problems, but there are no answers, so I’m sitting and wondering what I’m doing wrong in the problem. and of course gave it up. so that this doesn’t happen, I’ll write again if there are good sources and solutions to problems with a detailed description and solution, it’s absolutely necessary .... I want to learn how to solve problems, at least simple ones, otherwise I’ve been studying for 3 years, but what’s the point none.
