Do phones have a limit on the number of clicks?

A friend changes several phones a year from budget to flagship. The touch stops working (chaotically pokes at everything and does not perceive pressing). In the repair they say that this is due to the large number of clicks (he says that he presses a lot at work).
Can it really be? And will a gaming smartphone solve this problem? Or is it better to take some SG Note and poke with a pen?

Such a problem was in resistive touchscreens (sensitive to pressure).
Modern capacitive ones, as far as I know, do not have such a problem.
Let your friend buy some flagship / semi-flagship from a first-tier brand (galaxy s, galaxy A, iphone, pixel, one +)
There should be no problems.

There is a limitation, but it is wild ... the bodies will last for 5 years with constant use.
Let anyone take an iPhone, with the ORIGINAL!!! screen, there will be no problems
Well, either she beats / drowns them or just lies) and let her cut her nails
