Do NodeJS developers need to know php?

I want to move in the direction of node js, but I had very little experience with php. Will a node js programmer need it, or can I not bother at all?

Forget it, better devote more time to node, you can look at frameworks, don't worry about php. It's just that if you know php, it will be easier to figure it out, since there are many common points.
