Will the motherboard pull the RAM over the processor?

On the hands of the Intel DH67GD motherboard , they write Dual DDR3 1066/1333.
On hype, I decided to upgrade to Xeon E3-1270 v2 , they write DDR3 1333/1600.
Somewhere they stuttered that it's better to put 1600 to this processor, but I'm not sure that the motherboard will allow this to be done. Now 4Gb 1333 and I don’t know whether to buy another 4GB 1333 or change to 8GB 1600
