Do I need to register third-level domains when using virtual hosts?

If I write virtual hosts in httpd.conf, do I need to delegate these virtual hosts as third level domains so that they can be accessed from the outside, or Apache handles everything and I just need to delegate the root second level domain?

@uakoB

if you own the mydomen.ru domain and you need the forum.mydomen.ru images.mydomen.ru domain, then in this case you don’t need to register anything, just add the record data to the dns management of your name and specify the ip where they are hosted
