contextual advertising

Do I need to make irrelevant ads on topics to increase sales?

Good afternoon! I am not a context shark, but I would really like to hear the thoughts of experienced directologists.
The company on Direct and Adwords have ads for all the keys regarding my product - a photo shoot in Thailand. I noticed that my competitor used ads in the context of queries regarding Thailand, but not related to the photo shoot (even indirectly).
Example:
romashka hotel reviews - announcement Order a photo session in Thailand
webcam Thailand - announcement Order a photo session in Thailand
, etc.
Question 1
I may be completely green, but is this a good approach?
Note: Let's say we increase the coverage, but as I understand it, the bounce rate will also increase, which will lead to an increase in the cost per click. Am I talking right
Question 2
If such a strategy exists, what would you advise to do?
Note: My thoughts are to get people to blog on general topics + create a separate company so that the statistics do not harm the main company, which is as relevant as possible.

Counter questions.
Question 3. In the context - where does it sit, in a special or in a guarantee?
Question 4. Or do you see competitor's ads that "catch up" with you in YAN/KMS?
Answer to question 1. Any approach is good if it makes a profit. Those. even if a person takes 1st place in special placement for the key "Thailand", and he is satisfied with the ad conversion and CPC; conversion on the site into a buyer from such an ad and a person in the black - then please sit in the special for general requests.
Answer to question 2. Try to increase the coverage for general andnear-thematic requests by making a separate company for such requests only in YAN/KMS. Try targeting in social networks - it will not be difficult to collect the target audience, especially if you have introductory statistics (metrics, adwords) from current orders through the context. Only, of course, you need to take statistics not from all traffic to your site, but only from that segment of the target audience that made and paid for the order.
