Do I need to close the main page of a news site from indexing?

There is a blog on Wordpress on gaming topics. News, articles, reviews are published there. I see that Yandex has indexed the main page and gives a link to the topic query to the main page, and not to the page of the article itself. This is very stupid, the user comes from the search, the material has already left the main page, the user is upset and leaves, the PF is falling.
I want to get from the search to the page of the article itself. Do I need to put noindex, follow on the main page (and in other indexes, by tags, by categories) for this ? Or maybe it's done in some other way?

Are your pages indexed? There is no going.
Is there a sitemap? I doubt.
What about robots.txt?
The sitemap has a special tag - changefreq. Perhaps it will help.

You shouldn't close the news index on the main page!
