Do I need SSL for a domain that has a 301 redirect to another site?
There was a site https://site.ru (worked with an ssl certificate). I had to move to another domain https://site.club . Set up a 301 redirect. And now you need to renew the ssl certificate for the old domain (site.ru). Tell me, please, is it necessary to do this? Do I need a working ssl certificate for the old domain on which a 301 redirect is configured via htachez to a new domain? What is the right way to keep the link and weight in the eyes of search engines? Thank you.

In order to send instructions about the redirect to the user, you need a working data transfer channel.
In the case of HTTPS, the channel must be encrypted. Without an SSL certificate, the encrypted channel will not open.
Conclusion - an SSL certificate is needed.
