Do I need php routing if I'm using angular2?

Please tell me if I have php mvc which has my own router, do I need it at all if I use angular2 which also has routing?

Angular sends requests, how should puff resolve them without routing?
Routing is present to anyone, explicitly or implicitly. unless of course you have a separate file for each request.
