Do I need cms for a landing page?

Good day.
I am engaged in the development of sites on outsourcing as a part-time job.
We recently ordered a landing page and decided to try it. Made a design. Approved the first time. No edits or complaints.
There are no problems for me to make it up and code in html + css + javascript. But the question arose. Do you need cms?
Is it advisable to deal with hemorrhoids and make up for something if the page is not updated. Headlines are the maximum. Perhaps there is no point then? Make a mini admin panel where the text part can be changed, for example, in conjunction with mysql?

CMS makes sense only if the site management will be transferred to the customer and he will actually edit something there. If all the changes come down to a couple of renames once a year, then this can be done by you personally as part of technical support, and here CMS is no longer needed.

Need CMS.
If you are doing a project for a one-time customer, then how can he change his phone later? Or make some text more readable by changing the phrase?
The main thing is that the CMS should be light, like MODX
