Do I need any third-party libraries to work with the C# Sites API?

Hello. To work with API sites in C#, namely sending POST and GET requests, do you need some third-party libraries like xNET or will the standard System.Net and System.Net.Http be enough? And why then all repeat that it is better to use xNet?

For starters, enough standard ones, just a little more complicated. Recently I wrote only on standard ones, everything works fine ...

Yes, standard ones should suffice. As for me, xNet is a good library + convenient, I see no reason to turn out of it.
