Do I need a yandex pdd private key?
Do I need a private key yandex pdd if
I use smtp.yandex.ru,
Mail is sent via postfix but not signed when delivered.
I configured the public key in the dns settings of the domain by creating a txt entry.
Do I need a private key, or do I have to wait 24-48 hours for everything to work on its own?

If you use smtp.yandex.ru - you need to take Yandex public key, which can be obtained from dns1.yandex.ru
nslookup mail._domainkey.yourdomain dns1.yandex.ru
and publish it in your zone as mail._domainkey.yourdomain, more you don't have to do anything.
If you're sending directly, then you need to generate a new key pair and publish a public key with a different selector (not mail), such as mymailsrv._domainkey.yourdomain
, and sign outgoing emails yourself with the mymailsrv selector.
