Do I need a powerful processor for rendering?

Hello guys) Tell me, I have a core i3 3220 processor, I work with archiCAD and artlantis, I render 3-d layouts. slows down terribly. I am considering replacing the processor with a core i7 3770. Do you think it will be better? Is it worth it to spend so much on a percent, or will the performance not increase much?

In your case, the dependence is direct - it is the processor that rederizes (unless, of course, you have enough RAM) Take a multi-core percent.

as far as I know, for rendering the final picture and archicad and artlantis, it is the CPU that is used. Rendering speed is directly affected ONLY by the CPU and a sufficient (!) amount of RAM.
BUT the GPU is used to work with the project. video card.
