Bots don't care. They may not even load your styles / scripts, form parameters are important to them (sometimes csrf token, cookies, etc.).

Display:nonenot a sketch from the bots form. They do not load scripts and styles. They take the form and try to send different data.
Captcha should be placed on forms that are often used. If the form is rarely used, you can not put it. If spam went through this form, then you have to put it.
