Do additional span tags affect website promotion?

Hello! A question. I have a site on the DLE engine and when I paste the copied text, it replaces all spaces with <span>&nbsp;</span>
For example, a description for a movie, and there are many such spans:

From here the question is, if left like this, will it somehow affect the site, promotion, or is it better to get rid of these spans?

In any case, you need to get rid of spans, at least in order to save traffic. The space is the most frequent character, and 19 characters are put in its place.

The impact is so small that you won't notice it. These spaces are in the html code, and the page code is GZIP compressed before being sent almost always. If it doesn't work for you, you need to set it up.
And after compression, the difference will be negligible. This is easy to check and verify.
