For example, MicroTik Router OS x86 ( 1 , 2 ), as well as ClearOS, Untangle Gateway, pfSense ( 1 , 2 ), Endian Firewall Community, SmoothWall, m0n0wall , FreeSCO . MikroTik is licensed by tiers and is paid, but the license is not expensive.

I'm currently using Vyatta.
I want to try www.zentyal.org/server
What are the alternatives to the Vyatta soft router now?

The best of all of the above is definitely mikrotik.
Another option is to use a clean freebsd kernel with routing patches

I have been using endian 2.4 for 3 years now, no complaints, tunnels between offices have been raised

Vyatta, and now VyOS is still a slightly different level than pFsense-like ones. The first is the level of a serious router on a PC platform, the second is a router / firewall with a web-muzzle on the client side of the Internet connection.
Of the interesting serious routing solutions on the PC, I would also note XORP , unlike Vyatta, this is not a piece-by-piece assembled from different software, but an integral solution, but the development has somehow froze lately and it is not designed as a convenient distribution kit, although it exists downloadable live-CD.
PS: Although I got excited, there is still an AGH Live Router based on XORP, it is also available as a live-CD.
