Distribution after Ubuntu?

Hello. I have been using linux (ubuntu distribution) for about a year now, but I want something more "tough", something more advanced. I looked towards ArchLinux, but the installation there, to put it mildly, is rather complicated. Which linux distribution can you recommend, whatever is not ubuntu and not very difficult.

gentoo, lfs, slackware
In general, a distribution kit is just a set of programs and a convenient mechanism for installing and updating. All. Do you solve your problems on ubuntu? everything is working? If yes, then don't be fooled. In general, you can simply try it - take and which thread the next task you solve not within the framework of ubuntu, but on a different thread, putting it all in a virtual machine.

Ruslan Fedoseev speaks his mind. And then the fashion went "I want to be a true Linuxoid, so at least I'll put a cactus in my ass, but I won't use Ubuntu, even though it solves all my problems"

Arch then vanilla, then vanilla with settings for real-time tasks
If arch is difficult, then go back to ubuntu and study it thoroughly

The installation there is a bit tricky to say the least.

If you want to pump from scratch, you better not find anything. Master the installation and setup - just master the basics, and the Scary Black Console will not scare you anymore. However, initially I advise you to practice on cats ^ W virtual machines. I did it myself, after which I already put it on iron, and to this day it works.
