Distance education - how to choose a university?
I'm going to get a distance education in the field of IT, I need knowledge, a base, and not just a diploma. I searched for a long time, I liked Chelyabinsk State University and Tomsk Polytechnic University. Please help me decide.
Maybe there are other options (interested in admission this year)?
+ passing question:
many times I saw that the main thing is skills, and having a diploma is the tenth thing. But will a potential employer not be puzzled if I have a diploma from a Moscow university and a Chelyabinsk / Tomsk university, despite the fact that I live in Moscow?
upd: the first education is humanitarian, from distance learning I want access to the "knowledge base", assignments and some kind of communication with teachers.

If a Muscovite go to MIET, there is a remote control.
But Tomsk goes higher in rating (although not in all)
Chelyabinsk - no, not an option.
Also look at the university of the people - they issue a state American diploma, a full-fledged distance learning, education is almost free
What exactly do you want to learn in it?
the area is too big to just take and get a comprehensive education, which will also give skills. Universities are applying for certain specialties
https://ru.hexlet.io - an interesting resource, but there is also no "everything an IT specialist needs"
