Display image(s) and changing price list for plasma panels?
Good day comrades!!!
Let's get down to business :)
What we have available:
- 6 FullHD plasma panels (PP)
- each PC is equipped with a Mini-PC, I assume with Debian (?)
What is needed:
There is a small range of products, with daily changing goods and prices that need to be projected onto one PP, as well as the most convenient and quick change for the seller, through a simple interface.
On the rest of the PP, it is necessary to project pictures with constantly changing goods, if they are available. If the goods are not available, then by default on these PPs, the company logo should be spinning.
Actually, the question itself:
How can this be implemented at the "local level" (in the local network) and, of course, so that all this works stably?
I have not dealt with such issues until now, I ask for help from specialists :)
* either allocate a PC (or server) for a media server (maybe there are some ready-made solutions or software).
* or build the whole thing on php, html.
Thank you for your help!

There is no standard version.
We have a similar problem solved by a heavily truncated version of linux and the launch of chromium (chromium) in kiosk fashion. Well, in fact, what you catch up with there will be displayed - you make a local mini-site, options for implementing a wagon.
We have solved a similar problem like this: on plasma intranet / built-in browser / site, on the site ajax content update every minute or two.
Also, it is necessary to develop an interface, such as:
Select the time range in which you want to project this picture.
All the same, the easiest (relatively) way is to do it in php, I think...
