Disk not working after ubuntu?

In general, I installed ubuntu next to windows 7, there was Windows on one disk, ubuntu on the other, I didn’t like ubuntu and I decided to get rid of it, and just formatted the disk on which it was, and now I can’t use this disk, as this place would be free, but when I want to create a volume on Windows, then at the end it writes not enough consolidated space to perform this operation, how to be and what to do?

Maybe you formatted it in a file system that Windows does not understand? Look exactly with some Partition-master, what file system is in place of Ubuntu. Must be ntfs
