Disabling Scroll Lock key in OS?
Recently became the proud owner of the Defender Galaxy 4710 keyboard . I bought it because of the presence of electroluminescent backlight in it. There is a problem with this backlight. The thing is that the backlight is tied to the indicator LED of the included Scroll Lock, that is, it is powered from it. Usually this does not interfere, but in some software, the included Scroll Lock changes the key assignment (take the same MS Excel). Such a question: is it possible to make the OS (Windows) not react to a change in the Scroll Lock state, i.e. considered it always off, while the indicator could be turned on and off with the button of the same name, while doing this using the OS itself (if possible)? Perhaps someone will find alternative ready-made options, I will gladly take them into account.
PS Google did not give a sane answer (well, maybe for * nix, but there I myself know how to do it).
