Disable standby mode

On a corporate, domain computer, a policy was introduced to go to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity. When you wake up, you need to enter your personal password. What are the options to prevent this? I have a user account, an attempt to turn off the standby mode in the settings or increase the time did not help.

In XP, the "before transition" timer does not start if the start menu is left open. Possibly in 7 too.

The problem is not technical, but organizational. Why would you break corporate rules and hack your computer? If you really have a need to remove the transition to standby mode - contact your manager. Well, for example, I had a need to connect via vpn to a work computer. Naturally, this cannot be done when the computer is in sleep mode. And of course the admin allowed it to change. Corporate policy should help, not hinder.

Do something to keep your computer busy. Something like a media player, fixated on the production of a video file. Players usually prevent screensavers from launching and going into standby mode.
