Disable POI output?

We are developing an application. OSM was chosen as the GIS provider. We also tried rendering maps from OSM, tried maps from CloudMade. We settled on the first because of the good contrast. At the moment, the question arose as follows, is it possible to disable the display of POI on the map. For output to the browser, the Leaflet API is used. I want to remove it because it is necessary to show some establishments on the map and their display ugly intersects with the render from OSM. There is a suspicion that you need to install your own engine for rendering maps and render them yourself with disabling poi output. Maybe there is still a way?

Cloudmade gives some options for customizing styles for the map.
In general, you need to render your tiles. In my timemade textless tiles, on which it was separately possible to overlay tiles with inscriptions in the desired language (name:XX). Such is the proof of concept
