Digitization of analog lines, which option is possible?
Good day to all. This question has already been raised, but my situation is somewhat different. The office has 2 analog lines, they are included in the Panasonic TDA30 automatic telephone exchange. There is also a 4g YOTA router, which has 2 FXS ports. We purchased a direct ip number from the Zadarms operator, and turned on the cloud PBX. Separately, everything works, i.e. calls to analog lines are driven by the TDA30, and if you call a direct IP number, then the calls go to softphones through this cloud PBX. But when trying to connect 2 analog lines to a cloud-based PBX, difficulties began to arise. Firstly, the YOTA router is not configured to work with a SIP account. Secondly, FXS ports are not suitable for plugging an analog line into them. Thirdly, in Windows Phones, IP telephony applications do not run in the background and do not receive calls when they are simply open. Well, it's okay, figs would be with him. I'm interested in the following question, is it possible, having purchased a gateway with FXO ports, to plug 2 telephone lines into it and so that the gateway sends them to a cloud PBX, and it already redirects the call to an internal number? Is it possible to exclude TDA30 from this scheme? Or is it generally better to purchase an IP PBX on Asterisk and abandon Zadarma's cloud IP PBX with no idea what features? In general, what options for solving the problem of digitizing analog lines exist? and she already redirected the call to an internal number? Is it possible to exclude TDA30 from this scheme? Or is it generally better to purchase an IP PBX on Asterisk and abandon Zadarma's cloud IP PBX with no idea what features? Start by identifying the capabilities of your PBX - list of boards
In the question, list the boards that you already have in the PBX.
If two analog lines are already coming to the PBX, it means that it has a KX-TDA3180 board. This board has 4 ports.
Therefore, you can connect your PBX to the FXS ports on the Iota and then program it for the correct routing.
