Didn't I give borscht by installing Windows 7 Pro x64 on a weak laptop?

Good afternoon!
MSI X410 laptop, AMD Athlon Neo MV-40, 1600 MHz, 1GB DDR2-800 memory
. there was 50GB for C drive, I used the laptop for a browser, Skype, MS Office
Well, since I only had the key for Windows 7 Pro x64, I decided to install
it. was released and how many of them were written during this time.
So the question is whether it was worth looking for the Home or Home extended version, instead of Pro and plus install a 32-bit system in order for the laptop to work faster
I’m not sure that the bit depth will affect, but the question is about the version of Windows, for those who know, there may be some services in the Pro system that will unnecessarily load the machine during operation

It's just the bit depth that will affect. Get another 1-2 Gigabytes of memory, they are not very expensive now. And it will be updated for another two or three days. Some .NET updates install half a day each.

In terms of choosing 32 or 64, there is this point:
Windows 7 system requirements:
- 1 gigabyte (GB) (for a 32-bit system) or 2 GB (for a 64-bit system) of RAM (RAM)

The key is suitable for both x64 and x32 - the same.
Your distribution seems to be without SP1 and the Internet is weak - that's why it takes so long to update.
In addition - by default, the laptop falls asleep after 20 minutes, if I'm not confused, This is another reason for the long installation of updates. Go to Power Options and put Sleep after 6 hours - everything will become much faster.
So - look for a 32-bit distribution kit with SP1, reinstall Windu, rearrange Sleep for 6 hours - and everything will be up in an hour, it will be updated in a day.
