Did you do a CLEAN reinstall of Windows?

I did a clean reinstall of Windows using a flash drive. Later it turned out that the flash drive had previously been inserted into someone else's computer. What will we do? After all, if the flash drive was infected, then it could be that the microsoft installer formatted it, but the computer infected it again?

Formatting a flash drive is the most radical way to clean up viruses (if they exist at all), let's say "Heavy artillery". On another computer, rewrite Windows, then insert the USB flash drive into your turned off PC, turn it on, boot from the USB flash drive and install as usual, deleting the partition with the previous Windows (usually Drive C). Do not worry, if the flash drive is not infected with a ransomware, then careful formatting (not quick) will remove everything. If the flash drive is working - everything will be fine. especially if you update windows regularly, then its protection system itself will reveal that there are dangerous threats. You can additionally scan the system with various utilities:
