How to run a physical image in a virtual machine?

Hai. I have a Linux backup installed on NVME if that makes any difference. I completely cloned NVME via dd and of course I ran sha256sum on both the clone and the original, everything is ok. Backup I have naturally on another drive. Now I need to run the clone in a virtual machine. How to do it?
As I understand it, it will be necessary to convert the clone image into some format for a virtual machine and fix the clone bootloader?
PS
The clone will run on the same hardware percent, vidyaha, etc. only not from under Linux but Windows if this also plays some role.
