DHCP on windows 7
I made an access point from a Wi-Fi adapter, everything works with static.
But you yourself understand that it’s not cool to drive in IPs, you need a DHCP server under windows 7.
Google showed Tiny DHCP server, but alas, despite the simple setup, IPs are not issued for some reason.
Need advice on how to do DHCP?

Windows has an ICS (Internet Conneting Sharing) service that can distribute the Internet to the local network, while automatically turning on an unmanaged DHSP server that distributes ip in the range 192.168.0.1-254. If there is a need to distribute the Internet from this computer to LAN and at the same time receive ip via DHSP, I think this option will be ideal.
By the way, the same service is a firewall (firewall) and it is she who, as a rule, interferes with the normal operation of other network services if it is poorly configured.
korvindest wrote a working solution, I'll add something else from myself. because it didn't work for me at first. Windows, after setting the connection sharing, reported that the network address would be assigned ip 192.168.137.1 And it seems that it can no longer be changed. If you do not touch it, then from the range of 192.168.137.0 IPs will be distributed. Let's hope that I don't need to install a mac->specific application bundle.
Thank you all for your help and special thanks to korvindest.
Do you have windows firewall or firewall enabled (or misconfigured)?
