DevOps. What tasks are typical in daily work?

Good afternoon. I have already read a number of articles and vacancies on this topic and now I would like to understand in more detail what is directly included in the functional duties of an engineer. Please provide examples of tasks that are typical of a devops engineer's daily work. Thanks to.

DevOps sets up tools to automate the development and testing process.
It can be Jenkins/Teamcity with different builds, verifications, autotests.
It can be automatic deployment of virtual images / dockers for testing. It
can be the organization of hardware with their automatic firmware fresh builds . , chats, wikis, backups and replications. This can be a banal setup of the usual common environments and keeping them up to date
Depending on the qualifications of the devops and his involvement in the project, he can either influence the organization of all of the above, or work at the direction of the temlids / architect.
It happens (not often, rather in startups) that a devops is coming - he came, set it up from scratch, taught someone to follow it and left to look for another project.
DevOps is also very compatible with the release manager, who is responsible for the deployment to production and everything related to it.
Even from the point of view of the organization, an ordinary system administrator can work in a company, supporting its local infrastructure, but not in a project that works for a foreign customer. Therefore, the admin may not have rights to the project servers / sources and he should not have access to them, so devops also administers this, due to the fact that he works in the project (and signs the NDA).

DevOps differs from the usual sysadmin in that he cannot say "this is the task of programmers."
