Development with PHP + MySQL on iPad 2
I spend quite a lot of time on the subway (about three hours a day) and would like to increase my productivity underground. I'm into PHP web development and would like to try the iPad for this purpose (because you can quite comfortably type while standing up). This article describes a lot of useful things about text editors and FTP clients, however, with access to the network underground, problems, respectively, need something like wAMP, xAMP, etc.
I know for sure that you can install a local web server with a PHP interpreter on the iPad, but I can't find the details. All that I managed to google is “it’s easy to do after a jailbreak” and you can use the engine from the site www.lighttpd.net/ for this
Tell me (click on tutorials/articles/descriptions) how do I work on simple web applications? Need instructions for installation and use. From the initial conditions, there is a jailbroken iPad 2 and a great desire to figure it out.

I don’t want to ask you offendedly, but it just might be clearer from the outside, with a fresh look ...
And there is definitely no other way to solve the problem, except by standing in the subway on an iPad to code in php?
Maybe rent an apartment closer to work, or change jobs? ..

If you have a jailbroken iPad 2, then Cydia is probably worth it. In it, through the search, we put lighttpd and php
But, it's not a fact that this php will be able to work with mysqlserver. Perhaps there will be no extensions. And it seems like there is still no MySql for iOS
IMHO, it will be more efficient to read literature about development and outline an action plan, so that later it can be implemented in a normal environment and on a normal computer.
I think that this can be done on hacked iPads, but there are BUT: I can absolutely tell you that the iPad was never designed for such tasks. This is purely a client device and should not be a server. Thus, you will have to fight all the time - not to install the latest firmware, look for jailbreaks, fight for the stability of the web server in specialized forums, and so on.
Of course, it's up to you, but I would not undertake such a task. If you really want to have sex - put Fedora on your home computer and build bug reports in Red Hat, it will be more useful :)
As mentioned above, your version is the textastic
application.
Everything is very simple:
1) Install the application
2) Edit / write in php
3) Upload what you wrote to the server via fpt / sftp (application functionality)
4) Run through the built-in browser and watch what happened (application functionality)
