Development for iOS or Android?

In general, I know the basics of Java, I have been studying the Android SDK for a year, I have written a couple of applications.
I myself use only Apple products, over time such problems began to arise, for debugging I needed an Android device, etc.
I started thinking in the direction of starting to learn Swift and, accordingly, questions arose:
Does it make sense? How are things on the market? What is more in demand Android or iOS applications?

1) you are already writing on android, there is nothing shameful to write on a poppy, I have the same poppy, but nevertheless I debug android applications by connecting an anroid tablet
2) Both platforms are in demand, but! android has more penetration, because most phone manufacturers install it, and not only set-top boxes, TVs, watches

I like iOS. There is an easy swift language and a pleasant Xcode development environment. The iOS audience is more active in paying than android.
