Designer, modeller. Are there vacancies with training?
At the moment, I'm supposedly working as a manager in a small, slowly collapsing company. They don’t teach anything here, in general, you just sit and “work”. I myself have been delving into the topic of game development for a long time, one might say, since childhood. I have completed initial courses in C, 3D max, photoshop. I thought that I could take up something specific and learn it professionally. But somewhere it didn’t go well and it seems quite difficult to develop on your own, especially considering that you want a lot at once. Once upon a time, I also started writing design documentation for several game projects, but all this was put into a drawer already at the initial stages. Most likely, simply because of the inability to fold such documents correctly, again, due to the lack of professional experience. Now I started to study the Unreal Engine and, it seems, something is starting to work out, so that's what I do in my spare time. The only thing that can be shown is only in terms of level design in some toys that have built-in editors, but this is very small and a good part burned down with erased pirates. Time goes by and no one knows what will happen tomorrow, and I want to stay with a job, or even better, find one in which it would be interesting to work and develop. The point of my question is, is it possible to find jobs somewhere with training in game design, modeling and related industries? Those. when you don’t have experience as well as a portfolio, as such, only some sketches and a little bit of knowledge. Where and how can you show yourself so that at least some kind of road appears in this direction? Maybe there are companies where they don’t deal specifically with toys, but some kind of design or modeling - the main thing for me is to get knowledge in this,
I apologize that the question as a whole turned out to be muddy, it is not easy to describe the essence of this problem in detail.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

From a recently read interview with the directors of game studios (I can’t find the link), the conclusion is this: you need to find a game with an open possibility for expansion and write your own addon for it (new levels, new physics, new game features), or rather several of these addons, you can to different games. There is both level design and game dev. With such a portfolio, there is a chance that they will be taken to the studio.
The ideal option is to make a "playable" game on the engine you need from scratch.
It seems to me that this is a well-established approach in any field of development. It consists in showing your project as a fact of mastery. The first games show your starting level, the last games show your current level, and the time between them shows your skill growth rate. In fact, no one needs your projects, but without them you won’t get a good job.
Well, to make it interesting - look for a team. This is where the first stone is laid. Look for specialized game development resources, some forums. Offer yourself or look for an assistant. Even "for the idea" there are those who wish, just like you.
I advise you to decide - do you want to work as a programmer, designer, game designer, modeler or level designer? These are completely different professions.
In general, there are no developments, absolutely the smallest chance if you live in Moscow and your charisma is high.
Drink your project or join an indie team, make a small game and it will already increase the chances a lot.
the word manager implies that a person is capable of learning himself, that is, to raise the initiative that it would be necessary to send a manager to some courses and pay for them on behalf of the company, they do not agree to persuade, they did not persuade him to pay himself and go to study
