There was a need to make a calculator for the cost of delivery of goods, with the integration of Yandex maps or Google maps. The main feature in it is to highlight our area (a small town) and if the user counts the delivery in this area, then the cost is always displayed as a fixed value. But as the final destination goes beyond the area, then there is already a recalculation for mileage.
Is it possible to do this with the help of the above services?

Yes, Yandex.Maps has the ability to build a route ( ymaps.route ) and check its intersection with the object . Naturally, you will need to build a polygon for your city (the borders of the delivery area).
