Deduplication win 2012 r2 and recovery?

Hello!
Actually I have two questions.
I use this scheme:
There are several virtual machines on two physical servers (I virtualize using VmWare ESXi)
There is an old server on which I set up an NFS server (under Ubuntu)
On ESXi hosts, I picked up stacks from the NFS server, created virtual disks on them and hooked them to virtual machines, I make a backup on them using standard Windows server tools.
Can you tell me how correct this is? Does she have the right to life?
And another question about deduplication. I want to try to enable it on the server where user profiles and shared folders are stored. But what will happen to the backups? I understand that if the files were deduplicated, then they will be in the same state in the backup? Or not? If so, how might this affect recovery? If not, is it worth enabling deduplication on a disk with archives?
Thanks in advance for your replies and advice!
