Decode BackupKeyBag?
After the last update for the iPhone, the password for the encrypted backup was no longer accepted.
— Elcomsoft iPhone Password Breaker didn’t help, the password was complicated
— Deleting keychain-2.db (I had to jailbreak) didn’t lead to anything, it was already empty after the upgrade
— Editing Manifest.plist and copying the BackupKeyBag field there from the new file helped backup without a password and changing the IsEncrypted field to false
Restoration worked, worked, then gave an error. Only photos, programs and music were restored (because they were in iTunes). Settings, mail, sms, notes, contacts - not restored .
Is it possible to decode the BackupKeyBag key without brute force with Elcomsoft's program?
PS I took inspiration fromof this thread .
