Debian does not display all RAM. How to decide?

Hello.
On board debian 6.0 under i386, corei5 processor, installed with a 4 gig chip, shows 3216 only instead of 4096, inserted 3 more 4 gig chips, in total it should be 16GB, everything is displayed normally in bios. How can I get debian to display everything?

What do you put x86 on a machine with 16 GB of RAM?
