Debian 7.5 or Ubuntu 14.04 LTS to a webserver?

In general, the age-old Debian vs Ubuntu question. I'm more inclined towards Debian myself, it's on the same server, no problems. Basically, on other server and Ubuntu not lTS stood 4 years. But in Ubuntu 14.04, the long support cycle is captivating, right up to 2019.
Server 32Giga, SSD, E3-1225v2. Will be NGINX, MySQL, PHP5.5-FPM.

On 14.04, PHP 5.5, apache 2.4 are installed from the packages right away. This is one of the downsides I've noticed.

See what else needs to be configured.
I use both Debian 7.0 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Of the minuses of Ubuntu - often some updates come. In other respects, debian is sometimes more convenient.
At the expense of the current version of php - there is dotdeb
