Data recovery on hdd ext2?
Good day!
there is a seagate 500gb disk in ext2 format that was in the RL-D16 - REDLINE DVR
how can I recover data that was overwritten by the DVR?
the videos were relatively fresh on 6.5.15
what do I need for this?

If the data is "very valuable" - drag it to the professionals.
In Linux, install and run testdisk, and there you try to look at the deleted files on the disk, you do not need to mount the disk. If it doesn’t find what you need, then that’s it, they are worn out with new ones and you won’t get anything from there (they are physically no longer there). If not frayed - there is a great chance to restore.
