Custom site style changer on a NodeJS project?

I study the theory of the question.
There is a project on NodeJS + Express + MongoDB, Sass, Gulp is used.
Is it possible to make a color change on the site by the user?
For example, store a document in MongoDB with color, and when loading the page, take the value from the database and substitute it.
Has anyone implemented something like this?
