Creating or renting a 1C server to work via the web?

Now there is a 1C server raised on its own on a VPS running Windows Server. Users connect through a thick client. The configuration is self-written and works only through a thick client.

Gradually, I want to transfer everything and everyone to managed forms and make it possible for users to work in 1C through a web browser and a mobile application.
There are offers on the Internet from 700 rubles per user. There are 10 people in the team. 7000 for access is quite expensive. The base itself is 7 megabytes, simultaneous connections are not more than 5. I personally never worked through the web, only as an introductory review of the demobase, in the past I raised sites on iis.

I'm wondering - is it difficult to transfer your server to work through a web browser? Tell in a nutshell an approximate plan for raising such a server. Is it possible to work both through the web and through the thick client at the same time from the same server? Is it worth it or is it better to reconsider your position towards paid placement of the base in one of the companies?

Start redoing your working conf, redrawing the forms. And the people will continue to work.
Then you can think about where to put. At least rent it at least on your computer (there is a setting for forwarding on the infostart).
By resources:
ridiculous volume, you can get by with a completely inexpensive configuration. Rent servers for 8-16GB of memory. the drive is just as funny, turn it all around and drive. Almost everyone gives time to test.
And another thing is what you enter here and how you need an online mode. Maybe think of other forms.

If everything works for you now, then leave it as it is.
From the transition, it will not work faster!
If you're having a disk problem, consider VDS on SSD or NVME disks. Or install the same PrimoCache and forget about the brakes completely and about minute report generation!
And set up Terminal Access already! And you will be HAPPINESS: you are here

7000 for access is quite expensive.

Calculate how much the similar maintenance of your own infrastructure will cost you. Hardware, software, support.
