Creating a Password Protected Folder Using Java

Actually the question in the header is very clearly indicated.
You need to create (once, then read and write to it) a password-protected folder. What exactly means of Java it can be done?
The platform on which the application will work is known: Windows XP sp 2.

Look towards encryption and system utilities. Accordingly, Java Crypto API if you want control, or if you use the professional edition, you can use Cipher
