CPU testing on laptop under linux?

Tell me pliz senior comrades software for testing the CPU on a laptop, and specifically the processor cache, because Windows 7 says that the cache is not working on i7 (one of the cores). Need to understand the matter in Windows or in hardware? You can’t touch the laptop, only boot from a flash drive.
