Correct zoom in Windows 10 interface elements?

The problem with high dpi, on a laptop with a diagonal of 17.3 inches, the resolution is 1920x1080. Those. not that retina, but when the laptop monitor is moved away at arm's length and the keyboard is connected in order to save eyesight and fingers, a problem arises.
Problem: poorly readable text, generally small interface elements.
Add. conditions: you need to increase the elements so that they are not fonts in the browser, because there you need to somehow typeset and see from the user's side. There is also a question with the point of increasing the interface in the settings of the Windows itself - is the contents of the browser adequately displayed after that? Those. It would seem that everything is fine, but in practice, someone will say how it really is: does it break anything?
Thanks in advance for the answers, at the moment the topic is quite critical in terms of vision anxiety.
upd: the point is not whether I positioned the monitor correctly, but how to enlarge all interface elements so that nothing moves anywhere in an unnatural way in website layouts. Or does it really not go, but it seems to me? I would like to hear the experience of using it, perhaps details on how the size of elements is calculated when elements are increased by 125% (in Windows, not in a browser, in the browser everything seems to be clear and there is an emulation of a different resolution. Does Windows do the same, or is the algorithm different? ).
