How to repair/install grub?
Good afternoon!
It was on my Win10 laptop, I decided to install kali linux as the second system. I downloaded the iso image, mounted it on a USB flash drive, allocated space for the system, disabled boot security, installed it, rebooted - Windows starts up.
I read it on the internet, they say to do a series of operations from kali live - grub will appear, everything will be OK!
I launch kali live from a flash drive, open the console and after a while, a little, kali freezes and moreover globally - I can move the cursor, press the keys or poke somewhere with the mouse - nothing happens. I tried to repeat this operation about 20 times, I waited several times until it drooped, but how long do not wait - it does not droop
I know where kali is installed - sda5 The
question is how to restore grub from Windows?
Or you can somehow run linux (not live) bypassing Windows - there is nothing similar to kali / linux in the boot shnyaga list. There is a boot of Windows and a hard drive on which there is no Linux. Please help, thank you all!
PS From "Disk Management" I saw that there is an efi partition, 100 mb

You can't restore from under Windows. Why don't you try VirtualBox or similar systems?
