Correct transition from http to https?

Now many are moving to https, but how to do this without leaving Yandex?
1. Indication of the directive in robots.txt "Host: https://site.ru "
2. In .htaccess we put 301 redirect from http to https
But what about access to the robots.txt file at http;//site.ru /robots.txt ?
Do I need to redirect it to https or make an exception for the Yandex robot and leave it to http?
