The fact is that the design of the site was stolen from me. There was no copyright. I think it is useless to argue with them, because they can say that on the contrary, I stole ... (I think so).
So I decided to make a new design. How to file copyright? What documents are needed? Where to apply? I read a lot of things on the Internet, but it is not clear. Therefore, I ask you to tell me in a simpler, everyday language, I think, nonetheless, some of you have come across such a situation.

And who made the site before is easy to find out. The main thing is that the one who stole should not have a private person, the registrars will not give a damn about your complaints, and they won’t be able to give a subpoena to a person because there is no data and they simply won’t be found, if the registrar is abroad, then forget it altogether. In any case, even if you take something, then 10 thousand rubles from him is unlikely to be justified. If the site has a simple design, there are many of them and it doesn’t look like a premium class, then forget it. The judge in general will laugh at you and hurt you because you bothered him for nothing

Copyright arises upon the creation of a work. They are not subject to mandatory registration. You need some evidence that you are the author.
Well, really, it's easy to prove, for example, the rights to the photo. But for something complex, such as a complex design, it is already more problematic, since you can always declare the stolen version created anew, "based on", and then you won't be able to dig.

Copy protection is determined by the © symbol, registering a design as unique does not make sense, this is not a software development, but if you still try to patent it, you will have to pay so much for it that you won’t pay back for 10 years later, since registration will be carried out according to several key elements - it will be easier and cheaper to order from Lebedev :)
It's up to you, the situation is sad, but personally, I have always adhered to the policy of "stealing an idea is easy, what to do with brains?" But you can’t leave them with impunity, create nasty living conditions for them, there is Roskomnadzor, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Courts, but first you need to take a screenshot of the stolen design, send them a complaint letter and not only in electronic form but also through the Russian Post registered with a notification, wait a week reactions, then find a lawyer, or personally, file a lawsuit, do not forget about the moral and material damage that they caused by their actions.
