Convenient video player for Linux - does it exist?

Is there a convenient video player for Linux in the world?
which :

  • will not eat the processor like VLC, (up to 100%)
  • have a playlist not in a separate window
  • expand on enter
  • click on screen - pause/play
  • pause on loss of window focus
  • remember the place in the playlist and in the file after closing

after the Windows daum potplayer, this VLC is already infuriating

VLC not so much.
Use SMPlayer. Once tuned it's just a miracle as good.
In general, Linux is not for multimedia.

Windows Media Player - since you even have a VLC processor eating, it's not in the player, but in the hands / OS.

Try Bomi, but I'm afraid if even VLC loads the processor, then something is in the hardware, not in the player...

vlc. If np takes off by default, you can change the settings ...

VLC has nothing to do with NP here at all!
See how your hardware is configured in the system.
Firewood ...
Or pieces of iron in a state of death.
My VLC in 18.04 eats everything that hit and NP within the absolute norm!
As a more convenient add-on for VLC, you can use FreetuxTV (only works with pre-installed VLC).

vlc cannot eat 100%. It's not about him.
But in general, there are smplayer, kmplayer (and others based on mplayer), there are xine-based

Smplayer, set up as it will be convenient
