Convenient dock for iPhone?

I read on the Internet that constantly charging the iPhone is bad for its battery.
Now I have it charging from the old Logitech Pure-Fi, but I'm confused by the fact that when I connect to it, the iPhone says that these devices are not compatible.
Recommend some convenient dock.
Thank you.

Actually not harmful .
And the dock, if you mean just a simple dock, without speakers, then you can, for example, choose almost any one on dealextreme.com
For example, I use this one , and there have never been any problems.

My last iPhone had a dead battery. Thought it was because of this. I currently have: Logitech Pure-Fi Anytimeimage

Better than the native dock from the original iPhone (the very first, which is still 2G) I have not seen. All models easily fit into it (up to 4s inclusive, I checked it), beautiful, heavy, with a rubber backing. Took home another one on eBay for $12.

I have such here and charging, and a hub, and a card reader. I have an iPod Classic 60GB, wife has an iPod Nano 5th, has an iPhone 4 and 3GS, and they all fit easily.
